Move in Closer Before You Take a Picture

Your shots will almost certainly improve if you move in closer. It helps focus attention and removes visual clutter. Concentrate on what you want the viewer to see. Move towards the subject or zoom in. Soon you'll realize there are striking shots waiting to be taken if you move in or zoom closer still. For example with animals, would shots of the feet, face, tail, skin texture, or eyes alone be interesting?
